📋 Description

• Collaborate with Youth Board Members to execute the responsibilities of the Board.

• Ensure that GSA Network adheres to its mission while engaging in initiatives such as strategic planning, fundraising, assessing the performance of the Co-Executive Directors, and reviewing and approving budgets and financial audits.

• Participate in strategic planning to establish long-term visions for both the organization and the overall movement.

• Assist in Board fundraising efforts through activities like direct donations, participating in fundraising campaigns, organizing fundraisers, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• Adult board members must be at least 25 years old at the time of submitting their application.

• Familiarity with GSA Network, the GSA Movement, or other youth organizing efforts aimed at racial and gender justice is preferred.

• Prior experience in non-profit environments, especially in fundraising, administration, and strategic planning, or previous service on a non-profit board is preferred.

• Adults should have a passion for understanding the social justice non-profit sector and an interest in non-profit governance.
