Admissions File Reviewer – PRN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess, summarize, and evaluate applications for graduate programs in Master-level Social Work and Social Policy.

• Review and appraise professional and volunteer experiences, as well as undergraduate and post-baccalaureate academic records, writing samples, and essays.

• Conduct a holistic analysis of applicants' experiences and achievements within context.

• Take into account and summarize the individual circumstances, contributions, and personal histories of applicants.

• Perform preliminary file reviews to determine completion of requirements.

• Create objective summaries and recommendations in accordance with admissions guidelines and rubrics.

• Uphold confidentiality and integrity throughout the admissions review process.

• Participate in mandatory reviewer training and calibration sessions.

• Operate independently and manage time effectively from November to April, averaging 10–15 hours weekly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent certification, or a combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience.

• Access to a personal computer and high-speed internet connection.

• Capability to attend mandatory training sessions in late October.

• Availability from November through April.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Competence in adhering to admissions guidelines, reviewing rubrics, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

• Desirable skills include proficiency in computer applications, handling confidential data, CRM systems, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, relational database querying, project coordination, and deadline management.
