This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Handle and manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
• Evaluate the treatment requirements of potential patients, identifying the appropriate facility and level of care that aligns with their clinical and medical needs.
• Accurately and promptly document patient assessments in the record system, ensuring that all relevant information is entered swiftly and efficiently.
• Comprehend patients’ insurance eligibility and their benefits.
• Assess patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits, exploring viable treatment options within Pinnacle Treatment Centers.
• Gather patients’ financial obligations, which include deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Collaborate with Pinnacle Treatment Centers to find available beds and arrange admissions.
• Organize admission schedules and coordinate patient transportation as needed.
• Thrive in a team environment, collaborating effectively with all staff at Pinnacle Treatment Centers to ensure a positive experience for patients.
• Demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously with others while managing individual responsibilities.
• Show adaptability and flexibility in shifting focus to new tasks or objectives.
• Exhibit negotiation skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Maintain attentive documentation practices.
• Display exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
• Inspire and motivate individuals seeking treatment.
• Possess accurate and rapid computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the substance abuse or mental health field.
• Experience in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of and/or experience in the treatment industry.
• Capability to connect with and empathize with patients and their families seeking treatment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
