Admissions Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Connect with prospective students through both inbound and outbound phone calls as well as video conferencing.

• Achieve daily performance targets related to call volume, talk duration, and applicant advancement.

• Conduct interviews with prospective students to evaluate their motivation, career aspirations, and educational challenges.

• Assist prospective students in overcoming obstacles and identifying the degree program that fits their needs.

• Provide tailored information about the advantages of education and DeVry University for each student.

• Support enrolling students throughout the admissions process.

• Respond to inquiries and link students with financial aid and academic advisors.

• Collect necessary enrollment documents and ensure that admissions testing is completed.

• Cultivate relationships with students and identify and reach out to additional potential students.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience is acceptable.

• Capability to sit and work at a desk and computer for prolonged periods.

• A quiet, distraction-free home workspace without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.

• DSL or cable internet connected directly to a modem/router via Ethernet; dial-up, wireless, and satellite internet connections are not permitted.

• A strong passion for education and a commitment to assisting prospective students in achieving their educational and career objectives.

• Enjoyment in engaging with prospective students via phone and forming meaningful connections.

• Proficiency in crafting well-written and persuasive messages.

• Motivation to work towards team objectives while being able to work independently and remain internally driven.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
