This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Act as an admissions specialist, providing guidance to students on suitable CIEE programs that align with their academic interests, objectives, and eligibility.
• Offer practical support to students as they initiate, complete, and submit their applications for CIEE.
• Deliver personalized assistance.
• Handle a significant volume of communications (emails and calls), responding to inquiries within one business day.
• Schedule timely follow-ups with prospective students to offer support, assess their commitment levels, and implement strategies to inform them about CIEE programs throughout the inquiry and application phases.
• Coordinate and lead information sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to enhance awareness of CIEE programs.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Institutional Relations to guide outreach strategies and initiatives aimed at generating and converting applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs.
• Work alongside Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with the objectives of partner institutions and provide valuable insights from the field.
• Meet both personal and team qualitative and quantitative goals (such as completed applications and their conversion) established by leadership.
• Record call details and enter data into the organizational CRM (Salesforce) to facilitate effective communication and progress tracking.
• Engage in regular training sessions to remain updated on CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international qualification.
• Background in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-focused role.
• Strong preference for study abroad experience.
• High energy, positively engaged, proactive, team-oriented, and a problem-solver.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups and working individually.
• Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving abilities, professional written and verbal communication, a service-oriented approach, high organizational aptitude, excellent time management, and the capability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while being part of a team.
• Show initiative while being receptive to feedback and able to take direction when necessary.
• Proficient in daily computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite, and willing to leverage technology to enhance performance.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
