Administrator On Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assists recovery services personnel by managing activities related to donor assessment and recovery.

• Collaborates with a team of AOCs to ensure consistent oversight by applying evidence-based critical thinking, organizational policies and procedures, along with regulatory standards and requirements.

• Emphasizes quality and process enhancement throughout the donation procedure while ensuring the protection of all relevant documentation and information.

• Guarantees that all pertinent information is accurately and promptly shared across various electronic platforms with internal and external stakeholders, aiming for successful outcomes in every assigned case.

• Works directly with the scheduled Medical Director on Call (MDOC) and utilizes all necessary consultations and resources to ensure the safe assessment, allocation, and transportation of appropriate organs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education, management experience, and/or AOC.

• At least three years of experience as a clinical coordinator in a procurement organization or two years in management and/or AOC.

• In-depth understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology, organ perfusion, strong decision-making skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Stay updated on all LifeLink and OPTN policies, CMS regulations, and relevant state and federal laws.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities along with outstanding customer service skills.

• Capability to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress environment due to the nature of work involving death and dying, which can induce emotional and physical stressors.

• Proficient in prioritizing remote work (computer and smartphone) to achieve goals for all active donors and referrals while meeting the needs of all stakeholders.
