This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Management, optimization, and maintenance of the database layer in the public sector system.

• Tuning the performance of PostgreSQL.

• Automating backup processes.

• Planning the development of database clusters.

• Ensuring the reliability of the platform operating on large sets of transactional data in a 24/7 environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial experience in managing PostgreSQL databases, including environments utilizing database clusters.

• Experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading PostgreSQL databases.

• Proficiency in administering and performance tuning PostgreSQL databases.

• Ability to perform and manage backups and restore databases.

• Skills in monitoring the performance and availability of databases.

• Experience in creating and optimizing indexes and improving SQL query performance.

• Familiarity with database orchestration in Kubernetes environments (e.g., CloudNativePG operator) — nice to have.

• Basic knowledge of non-relational databases (NoSQL) — nice to have.

• Certifications confirming expertise in PostgreSQL administration — nice to have.
