Adjunct Instructor – Vet Tech Externship Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze student externship skill submissions using predefined grading standards.

• Offer clear, supportive, and constructive written feedback that fosters student development and learning.

• Utilize professional judgment in the evaluation of skill submissions, ensuring consistency and fairness.

• Recognize safety issues, OSHA violations, and academic integrity concerns when necessary.

• Engage with students and the Veterinary Academy externship team promptly.

• Keep precise grading and evaluation documentation.

• Participate in mandatory training sessions, meetings, and accreditation activities as required.

• Review a minimum of 75 student skills every week while adhering to established turnaround times.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.

• Current Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or equivalent) in good standing.

• At least 2 years of veterinary clinical experience.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• Capability to deliver constructive, encouraging, and student-focused feedback.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
