Adjunct Instructor – Vet Tech Externship Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze student externship skill submissions based on established grading standards.

• Offer clear, supportive, and constructive written feedback that fosters student development and learning.

• Utilize professional judgment in the evaluation of skill submissions while ensuring consistency and fairness.

• Detect safety concerns, OSHA violations, and academic integrity issues as necessary.

• Engage with students and the Veterinary Academy externship team promptly.

• Keep precise records of grading and evaluations.

• Take part in mandatory training, meetings, and accreditation activities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.

• Current Credentialed Veterinary Technician status (CVT, RVT, LVT, or equivalent) in good standing.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the veterinary field.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• Capability to provide constructive, supportive, and student-centered feedback.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.
