Adjunct Faculty – Theatre

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Teach courses within our undergraduate Art, Design and Theatre program.

• Instruct in line with the course objectives, syllabus, and content designed by the Department of Art, Design, and Theatre.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback to students.

• Inspire and support students in achieving course learning objectives.

• Maintain professional qualifications and expertise relevant to the subject matter being taught.

• Comply with the University’s instructional standards.

• Please note that these roles may be temporary and part-time, and a background check will be required.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.F.A. in Theatre Performance, Design, or a bachelor’s degree with active pursuit of an M.F.A.

• Proven professional expertise and experience in the relevant discipline, supported by a professional portfolio (design) or CV/reel (performance).

• Documented successful teaching experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in online delivery systems, with a preference for prior experience using Canvas.

• The qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian.
