Adjunct Faculty – Master of Arts in Bilingual Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate learning for designated MABE courses in an asynchronous online format.

• Provide prompt, personalized, and constructive feedback on assignments, generally within a 7-day timeframe.

• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with students, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate with program leadership and faculty to enhance course quality, ensure candidate success, and promote continuous program improvement.

• Utilize the learning management system, video tools, and digital collaboration platforms to enhance student learning experiences.

• Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

• Uphold academic integrity, including the responsible use of generative AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in bilingual education or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Over two years of teaching experience in higher education.

• Proven expertise in bilingual or multilingual education, language development, and equitable instructional practices in PK-12, higher education, or community-based settings for multilingual learners.

• Ability to engage and support students from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including both international and domestic students.

• Capability to create an online learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and mutual respect.

• Experience with educational technologies and online teaching environments.

• Strong written communication abilities.

• A commitment to supporting diverse learners.

• Must reside in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
