Adjunct Faculty – Expeditionary Warfare School Blended Seminar Program Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver instructional sessions for residents and online seminars to support the Expeditionary Warfare School curriculum.

• Lead discussions on professional military education utilizing Socratic teaching methods and principles of adult learning.

• Provide mentorship to Marine officers, offering academic and professional advice throughout the program.

• Assess student engagement, written assignments, essays, planning outputs, and exams according to established grading standards and rubrics.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback to enhance student growth and align with learning objectives.

• Conduct instruction during in-person seminar sessions and facilitate learning during both asynchronous and synchronous online formats.

• Keep precise student records, grading documentation, and fulfill course administration requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Enlisted Programs (SEBSP / SEOS) U.S. Marine Corps Field Grade Officer (Major or higher) or a selectee for promotion to Major.

• Graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School (whether through resident, distance education, or blended seminar formats).

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Experience in a role such as Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, or Primary Staff Officer at the battalion, squadron, or higher level.

• Proven experience in facilitating professional discussions and mentoring military personnel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
