Adjunct Faculty – Distance Learning, Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Deliver program instruction through an online platform.

• Utilize innovative teaching strategies, state-of-the-art technologies, and current industry trends.

• Equip students with essential skills needed for their careers.

• Encourage and facilitate classroom discussions.

• Evaluate student performance effectively.

• Prepare students to become successful leaders in their respective fields.

• Manage weekly main discussion forums within the online classroom environment.

• Comply with weekly grading expectations, deadlines, and schedules.

• Address student inquiries and emails within designated timeframes.

• Uphold the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Doctorate in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, Distance Education, Distance Learning, or a related discipline.

• Minimum: Master’s degree in one of the aforementioned fields AND two areas of outstanding expertise.

• Valid state teaching certification.

• Five years of experience in PreK-12th grade classroom teaching or as a technology specialist or technology director.

• Capability to provide instruction in an online format.

• Dedication to supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and the Mission of Grand Canyon University.
