Adjunct Assistant Professor, Nursing – Acute

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Acting as a mentor, role model, and facilitator who offers guidance and academic support to students.

• Exhibiting a passion for teaching and dedication to individual students.

• Utilizing skills and experience to fulfill the assigned teaching schedule.

• Engaging in and contributing to assessment activities for courses, curriculum, and programs through a continuous improvement plan established by the University.

• Consistently enhancing class materials and syllabi.

• Employing diverse teaching methodologies to instruct students, ensuring observable evidence of their achievement of defined learning outcomes.

• Sustaining scholarly activities.

• Participating in professional development and service in alignment with university policies.

• Fully utilizing innovative technologies and resources, including Simulation and Innovation Labs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other necessary MS Office tools.

• Experience working with online learning management systems to enhance the student learning experience.

• Adherence to state, federal, and local laws/regulations related to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards, such as those set by the state Board of Nursing.

• At least five (5) years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.

• A minimum of three years of experience in the relevant teaching field.

• MSN degree required.

• DNP or PhD degree required.

• Professional nursing licensure is mandatory.
