This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide dynamic and high-quality instruction utilizing innovative teaching techniques and contemporary industry technologies.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation standards.
• Exemplify the holistic principles of the nursing profession while upholding the mission and core values of the University.
• Promote engaging classroom discussions, evaluate student progress, and prepare students for leadership positions in healthcare.
• Back program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the University’s philosophy and strategic direction.
• Serve as a positive role model by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.
• Preferred: Doctorate in Nursing (DNP/PhD) or a Doctorate in a health-related field.
• Required: Master’s in Nursing, Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO), Pharmacology Doctorate (PharmD), or a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.
• The graduate degree must be obtained from an accredited institution.
• Nurses must hold an active, current, unrestricted, and unencumbered AZ or Multi-state RN license and an unencumbered APRN certificate.
• Current board certification in the area of practice is necessary along with 2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to foster supportive relationships with students.
• Proficient in English, grammar, and APA writing style.
