Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform intake evaluations and assess Member readiness for care.

• Conduct virtual one-on-one and group counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis support and manage referrals as necessary.

• Keep timely and precise documentation within the EMR system.

• Work in conjunction with clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge processes.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and relevant state laws.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted New Mexico license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LISW, or LADAC).

• Experience in working with populations affected by substance use disorders.

• Proficiency in delivering care through telehealth platforms.

• Excellent documentation and organizational capabilities.

• Private workspace compliant with HIPAA standards and equipped with reliable internet.
