Adaptive Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning along with associated financial planning solutions.

• Collect requirements and convert business needs into scalable planning and reporting frameworks.

• Design and sustain budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting models.

• Create dashboards, management reports, KPIs, and financial analytics.

• Guide the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, long-term planning, and variance analysis.

• Enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency in collaboration with accounting and finance teams.

• Develop and manage integrations between Adaptive Planning and ERP, accounting, payroll, or other source systems.

• Examine financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Deliver end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.

• Resolve system issues, suggest enhancements, and apply FP&A best practices.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting requirements.

• Remain updated with Workday Adaptive Planning product changes and industry best practices.

• Collaborate closely with finance leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams to facilitate informed business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, finance transformation, or related fields.

• Practical experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, reporting, dashboards, sheets, versions, and planning workflows.

• Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management accounting principles.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into system and process solutions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

• Background in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and handling multiple priorities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

• Capability to work independently in both remote and collaborative settings.

• Workday Adaptive Planning certification or equivalent platform certification.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Workday Financials, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

• Experience in financial systems integrations, ETL tools, and data management processes.

• Knowledge of workforce planning, sales planning, or operational planning models.

• Acquainted with BI and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Workday Reporting.

• Consulting experience supporting multiple clients, projects, or business units.

• CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant finance certifications.

• Experience in SaaS, technology, professional services, or high-growth organizations.
