This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Log Collection & Ingestion: Actively gather Pre-logs and Post-logs from designated television networks.
• Operational Deadlines: Ensure timely uploads of all data into the proprietary application, adhering to established weekly deadlines, primarily every Tuesday.
• Parsing & Data Validation: Confirm that the spending and spot totals within the application correspond with the physical network logs to guarantee accuracy and completeness of the work.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Examine and resolve technical discrepancies, such as duplicate logs, system errors, or inconsistencies between the application and the log.
• Spot Reconciliation (Recon): Evaluate post-logs against original media orders to detect erroneous airings.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Identify and investigate common issues, such as advertisements running during paid programming, incorrect creative assets (ISCI codes), or breaches of spot separation regulations.
• Credit Memo & Financial Management: Use professional judgment to determine when to issue credits for spots and oversee the entire Credit Memo process—from creation and network distribution to tracking until completion—to ensure that final client invoices are accurate.
• Liaison & Coordination: Act as a point of contact for networks to clarify clearance anomalies and communicate these to the buyers.
• Progress Reporting: Manage progress updates through project management tools (Jira) to keep stakeholders informed about the reconciliation status.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency by recognizing trends for automation to streamline repetitive tasks in the reconciliation workflow, ultimately enhancing overall team productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Some previous experience in marketing or advertising is preferred.
• Proven project management and exceptional organizational skills, with the capability to balance complex workflows and prioritize tasks proactively against tight weekly deadlines.
• Outstanding attention to detail for matching intricate spending figures, spot rates, and ISCI codes.
• Experience with ad servers (e.g., CM360, Innovid) and a solid understanding of the ad serving process from request to impression.
• Working knowledge of digital technical aspects, including VAST tags, HTML, and basic ad specifications.
• Experience in at least one core Ad Ops function: Creative QA, Asset Management, Trafficking, or Reporting.
• Familiarity with various media types, including Audio, Video (CTV/OTT, OLV), and Display.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filtering, and pivot tables.
