This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct and oversee the monthly cash reconciliation process, guaranteeing completeness, accuracy, and prompt resolution of reconciling items in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

• Supervise the reconciliation of substantial cash activities, which include: Accounts Payable disbursements, premium billing and cash receipts, and claims payments along with associated clearing accounts.

• Establish and uphold robust governance over balance sheet accounts, ensuring the monitoring of aged reconciling items and adherence to escalation protocols.

• Spearhead cross-functional initiatives that influence cash flow and reconciliation processes by collaborating with AP, Billing, Claims, Treasury, and IT departments.

• Recognize and execute process enhancements, such as automation, standardization, and system upgrades to minimize manual efforts and associated risks.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, Model Audit Rule (MAR) requirements, and expectations for audit readiness.

• Create reporting and dashboards that deliver insights into reconciliation status, exceptions, and critical cash metrics.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals; establish clear performance expectations and promote accountability.

• Assist with strategic projects that affect enterprise cash processes, including system implementations, integrations, and policy modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• At least 6 years of experience in accounting compliance.

• A minimum of 2 years of management experience.

• Progressive experience in financial and accounting analysis.

• Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

• Proven experience in leading process improvements and large-scale projects.
