This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as a consultative expert in wound healing and the primary liaison for hospital wound care decision-makers.
• Advise clinicians on the safe and effective application of Solventum products.
• Participate in procedures and product placements within hospital care environments.
• Drive sustainable business growth by managing accounts and territories in alignment with sales objectives.
• Identify and address customer financial and clinical priorities effectively.
• Provide education to clinicians on product usage, including in-service training.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Utilize clinical and economic data to advocate for therapy adoption, advanced solutions, and new product launches.
• Influence key stakeholders to support proposed solutions and products.
• Deliver exceptional customer support and service.
• Exhibit proficiency after completing the sales training program.
• Employ company software for planning, pipeline management, and tracking utilization.
• Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
• Travel in a field-based capacity with an anticipated overnight travel requirement of up to 20%.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Possession of a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Successful completion of a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review is required.
• Ongoing eligibility must be maintained under Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Demonstrated history of achieving sales quotas and targets.
• Previous experience in wound care or medical device sales is preferred.
• Proven ability to establish strong customer relationships with key influencers.
• Experience in territory management and business planning.
• Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across various care areas.
• Customer-focused selling and closing experience is essential.
• Familiarity with navigating complex sales cycles.
• Completion of a formal sales training program is required.
• Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
• Knowledge of new product introductions and the value analysis process.
