Acute Care Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Providing care to multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to assess and treat patients in need.

• Receiving continuous support during your shift from our 24/7 access center, which triages cases effectively.

• Overseeing and/or executing psychotherapeutic interventions and prescribing necessary medications.

• Employing a collaborative care model within your partner’s healthcare treatment team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.

• Holding unrestricted, independent licensure.

• Established and current CAQH and FCVS profiles.

• Experience in delivering psychiatric care across all age demographics.

• Providing treatment for patients in acute crisis and administering stabilizing care in 24/7 environments.

• Effectively communicating with patients from diverse backgrounds and delivering culturally competent care.

• Familiarity with managing multiple EMRs simultaneously.

• Advanced technical skills in utilizing hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software, backed by years of experience in telehealth.
