This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Comprehend, modify, and utilize intricate spreadsheets and database tools to analyze data and resolve issues.

β€’ Receive, reconcile, manipulate, and analyze data using programming languages such as R and SQL.

β€’ Verify data for consistency.

β€’ Create and implement actuarial models.

β€’ Communicate findings to colleagues, project managers, and client relationship managers.

β€’ Compose written reports and exhibits, as well as prepare other internal and external correspondence.

β€’ Review their own and colleagues’ work for precision.

β€’ Conduct research projects.

β€’ Execute or assist with additional tasks assigned by Actuaries and Principals.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A completed bachelor’s degree (at the time of application) in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or another quantitative discipline.

β€’ Two or more actuarial exams successfully passed (at the time of application).

β€’ Between one and four years of professional actuarial experience, which may include internship experience.

β€’ Proficient technical skills in Excel.

β€’ Experience in managing data and automating complex data manipulation tasks in R (preferred), SQL, SAS, or other programming languages.

β€’ Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for any immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future.
