ACH Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for all ACH-related inquiries from internal teams, clients, payment partners, and third-party service providers.

• Oversee the onboarding and implementation processes for new ACH partners and originating customers.

• Provide support to current partners and customers regarding ACH services, including exposure limit assessments and product enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with vendors, such as Fiserv and Direct Access partners, to address operational challenges and enhance service delivery.

• Seek out opportunities to broaden ACH capabilities and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with NACHA Operating Rules, relevant regulations, and Bank policies on an ongoing basis.

• Relay NACHA rule changes and regulatory updates to internal stakeholders, clients, and partners.

• Conduct annual ACH Originator Reviews and maintain necessary documentation.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security, and Internal Audit to carry out annual ACH risk assessments.

• Monitor ACH activity, return rates, and exposure to identify trends and reduce operational risk.

• Execute daily ACH reconciliation and address any balancing discrepancies.

• Manage ACH exception processing, return notifications, and resolutions for customer disputes.

• Coordinate the resolution of ACH processing challenges and operational exceptions.

• Prepare quarterly ACH reports for Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Compile and submit necessary NACHA and Direct Access participant reporting.

• Create and refine reporting tools to enhance operational monitoring, risk management, and executive reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification is mandatory.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• A combination of education and relevant experience will also be taken into account.

• At least five (5) years of experience in supporting ACH operations, digital payments, treasury management, or payment systems.

• Familiarity with NACHA rules, compliance, and operational risk management is essential.

• In-depth understanding of NACHA Operating Rules and ACH payment processing.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment are required.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficiency in analyzing data and generating precise management reports.
