This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Reach out to customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to recover overdue payments.
• Consistently follow up on overdue accounts to minimize aging balances and address payment discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring that accounts are accurate and current.
• Apply customer payments and maintain precise financial records.
• Process credit card transactions, issue credits, and make account adjustments as necessary.
• Negotiate payment plans as appropriate to aid in collections efforts.
• Handle inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and direct questions as needed.
• Conduct data entry and keep detailed documentation of accounts.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Sales, Billing, and Customer Service to resolve account-related issues.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of collections processes and workflows.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, or a related field.
• Proficient in billing and invoicing with QuickBooks.
• Strong grasp of accounts receivable procedures, billing, and collections best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to locate outstanding payments, investigate concerns, and effectively resolve discrepancies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and financial software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, persistent, and client-oriented demeanor.
• Strong organizational abilities with remarkable attention to detail and precision.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism when managing sensitive financial data.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience managing high-volume collections or aging portfolios.
• Background in collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with US-based clients, along with a solid understanding of US business practices and communication standards.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote setting.
• Availability to work during US Pacific Time (PST) hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
