This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, general ledger coding, payment execution, and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of accruals.
• Make independent decisions regarding payment timing based on cash flow considerations.
• Act as the main point of contact for communication with vendors and clients, handling disputes, follow-ups, and status updates through email and phone.
• Keep precise and organized records within QuickBooks Online.
• Identify and address discrepancies proactively to prevent escalation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and US-based clients, delivering clear and timely updates throughout the process.
• Practical experience in coding invoices to general ledger accounts and managing accruals.
• Demonstrated history of independently overseeing the accounts payable function rather than merely supporting it.
• Experience in prioritizing payments during periods of tight cash flow.
• Proven ability to manage billing disputes and vendor or client communications without escalation.
• Proficient in the use of QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of representing the company professionally in client-facing situations.
• Comfortable working during US business hours and coordinating across different time zones.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines independently.

• Experience in food and beverage or hospitality accounting.
• Background in an outsourced accounting or bookkeeping firm.
• Familiarity with managing accounts payable for multiple clients or entities.
• Previous experience supporting US-based clients remotely.

• Your accounts payable experience is primarily clerical or transactional.
• You have not directly managed the accounts payable function.
• You possess limited experience with QuickBooks Online and lack confidence in adapting quickly.
• You depend on others to resolve vendor disputes or handle client-facing communication.
• You lack prior experience working with US-based clients or teams.
• You have direct experience working with or supporting US-based clients, including communication across different time zones.
• You have experience in the food and beverage or restaurant industry, with a solid grasp of its financial operations and vendor dynamics.
