This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accountable for activities related to the creation, processing, and monitoring of accounts payables and receivables.
• Responsible for generating invoices.
• Executes posting activities to the general ledger.
• Conducts reconciliations for general ledger accounts, ensuring precise processing and posting of account entries.
• Aids in the preparation of financial institution deposits.
• Provides assistance with account research and audit schedules.
• Contributes to the development of efficient processes and procedures.
• Undertakes other assigned duties.
• Prints checks weekly or as necessary.
• Communicates with vendors regarding invoicing discrepancies.
• Reconciles monthly bank, credit card, and loan account statements.
• Conducts regular inventory reconciliations.
• Develops and supervises work order instructions for various packages.
• Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies.
• Over 3 years of finance or accounting experience in B2B Accounts; prior startup experience is advantageous.
• Experience in building and managing relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, professional communication skills (written and verbal), and excellent follow-through capabilities, with a tactful, confident, and ethical approach.
• Competitive and innovative drive to engage customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented, proactive self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving, research, and client follow-up with both external and internal contacts.
• Ability to adapt to the rapid changes typical of a startup environment.
• BA/BS degree required; an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance is highly preferred.
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas, with the capability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.
• Familiarity with Netsuite, Tesorio, Trovata, and Stripe is a plus.
