Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily accounts payable and expense functions, which include reviewing invoices, coding, approvals, and processing payments for all Heidi entities.

• Act as the primary contact for vendors, promptly and professionally addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

• Spearhead the introduction and adoption of new billing and expense management tools, as well as automation systems.

• Create and formalize process enhancements and standard operating procedures to boost accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls throughout the procure-to-pay cycle.

• Work collaboratively across departments to establish and enforce company-wide spending policies.

• Assist in the month-end closing activities by preparing reconciliations and reporting key financial activities.

• Facilitate audits by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounts payable documentation and process controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting, preferably within the technology sector or a similarly fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process enhancement.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

• A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and ensures follow-through.

• Nice To Have: A proven history of successfully implementing expense management systems, tools, or automation workflows to optimize AP processes.

• CPA qualification or its equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
