Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounts payable process, guaranteeing prompt and precise payments, managing vendor records, and aiding in month-end closing activities.

• Act as a vital link between our vendors and internal teams to maintain robust financial operations and vendor partnerships.

• Ensure accurate coding, authorization, and documentation of invoices in accordance with company policies.

• Organize and execute payments in accordance with vendor agreements and internal schedules.

• Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable aging report while keeping track of outstanding payables.

• Assist in addressing audit requests and compiling internal control documentation.

• Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable and corporate credit card accounts.

• Serve as the main point of contact for accounts payable inquiries from employees, contractors, and vendors.

• Collaborate with auditors and external partners as necessary.

• Build and sustain positive relationships with vendors through timely and professional communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in an Accounts Payable position.

• Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite and Ramp is required.

• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace tools, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Meet.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
