Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the company's core values and nurture positive relationships with vendors.

• Accurately and promptly process vendor invoices.

• Oversee vendor setup and maintenance, including W-9s, ACH details, and compliance checks.

• Ensure timely payment of invoices through various payment methods such as credit card, check, ACH, wire, and call-in.

• Manage Vendor Portals for invoice retrieval and payment processing.

• Regularly reconcile vendor accounts.

• Address invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner.

• Organize and automate accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and prevent delinquencies.

• Provide support to other finance and accounting team members as needed.

• Assist with audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.

• Uphold accounts payable policies and internal controls while identifying areas for process improvement.

• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as required to contribute to the success of the team and organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

• Experience with a variety of telecom carriers is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems, preferably NetSuite.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong data analysis skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to read, analyze, articulate, and compile financial reports for business correspondence.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to assist with additional tasks as needed.

• High attention to detail and the capability to meet deadlines.

• Strong time management abilities.
