This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Supervises the performance management and daily functions of Network AP Specialists and/or Clerks.
• Oversees the accounts payable cycle for the Accounts Payable Network team, from vendor setup to payment processing.
• Conducts month-end closing tasks, which include identifying and assessing necessary accruals and performing account reconciliations.
• Responsible for vendor management, including onboarding and maintaining vendor accounts.
• Ensures that invoices are processed accurately and within set timelines.
• Regularly receives and processes invoices from non-contracted providers (paper claims).
• Manages the precise and timely import of statements from contracted network providers into the accounting system.
• Evaluates and enhances current processes by assessing workflows.
• Coordinates the precise and timely preparation, completion, and filing of year-end 1099 documentation for Network providers.
• Serves as a resource for the accounts payable team.
• Five to seven years of experience in an Accounting or Accounts Payable position.
• At least one to three years of experience in a leadership role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to review data, identify trends, correlate information, and summarize findings.
• Capable of working accurately and efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required, including overtime.
• Excellent customer service capabilities.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (e.g., generating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and writing formulas).
• A solid understanding of the operations within the durable medical equipment industry post-acute and the Managed Care sector.
• Must maintain the confidentiality of patient information and adhere to standard operating procedures regarding patient data to ensure HIPAA compliance.
