Accounts Payable Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and proper authorization; match invoices to purchase orders and promptly resolve any discrepancies.

• Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks) while monitoring invoices to guarantee timely disbursement.

• Maintain vendor records, assist with onboarding and banking coordination, and ensure adherence to required documentation.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with vendors and internal teams, addressing inquiries from stakeholders as needed.

• Support AP subledger reconciliation, prepare accruals, and assist with period close reporting.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Budget Owners to resolve discrepancies and enforce AP policies.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements (including 1099 reporting), and aid in both internal and external audits.

• Contribute to internal controls and participate in the enhancement of AP workflows and automation as Enveda scales NetSuite.

• Review and code Brex corporate card transactions, follow up on compliance issues internally on a monthly basis, and act as the point of contact for all Brex-related inquiries and T&E policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, with a robust understanding of invoice processing, vendor payment cycles, and AP internal controls.

• Experience with ERP and procurement platforms, particularly NetSuite and/or Coupa, is strongly preferred; prior experience supporting AP during ERP implementations is an advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to independently manage multiple deadlines.

• Outstanding communication skills, a service-oriented approach to vendors, and a collaborative mindset across Finance and Procurement teams.

• Experience in a rapidly growing biotech, pharmaceutical, or startup environment is preferred.
