Accounts Payable, Cash Specialist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Accounts Payable

• Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner

• Code and sync expenses from Ramp to our General Ledger system

• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers

• Maintain vendor records while resolving discrepancies or billing issues

• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and prompt manner

• Manage Cash Activity

• Record daily cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts

• Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow tracking

• Prepare bank deposits and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation

• Assist with month-end close activities related to cash and payables

• Support the Broader Finance Team

• Ensure accurate and well-organized financial records

• Assist with audits by preparing and providing requested documentation

• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls

• Collaborate on ad hoc projects as team needs evolve


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role

• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar tools

• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry, basic formulas, and reconciliations

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Self-motivated and dependable—capable of managing time effectively and meeting deadlines

• Bonus: experience in cash management or treasury functions, ERP systems, or within a SaaS/technology environment
