Accounts Payable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Process and accurately categorize supplier invoices, ensuring they align with purchase orders or approved authorizations.

• Examine invoice specifics, including VAT/tax implications, pricing, and payment conditions.

• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment cycles.

• Reconcile supplier statements while investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Address supplier inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain precise and current creditor ledgers along with supporting documentation.

• Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.

• Assist in month-end closing activities, which include accruals and reconciliations.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, controls, and approval protocols.

• Provide support for internal and external audits as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or comparable finance position.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical and reconciliation capabilities.

• Familiarity with accounting systems and financial processes.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines.

• Confident communicator, comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a finance team.
