This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee and manage the AP inbox; promptly review and reply to incoming emails.
• Notify the appropriate teammate via email about discrepancies or missing information.
• Monitor outstanding items until they are resolved.
• Accurately enter invoice and payment information into the TMS in a timely manner.
• Examine transactions for precision; identify and highlight mismatches, duplicates, or incomplete fields.
• Maintain records of Notice of Assignment and Letter of Release within the system.
• Acquire knowledge and utilize the Ascend platform to assist AP processes (training will be provided).
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel confidently on a daily basis.
• Organize digital records effectively, ensuring consistent naming and proper filing of supporting documents.
• Assist the finance team with additional administrative duties as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities effectively.
• Clear and professional written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours (night shift, PH-based).
• Preferred (but not required): Previous experience in accounts payable, data entry, or administrative support.
• Familiarity with TMS or Ascend systems.
• Background in logistics, transportation, or factoring/finance industries.
