This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operate the necessary systems independently to process invoices throughout the workflow.
• Manage assigned stores and queues autonomously.
• Verify, input, and/or amend relevant invoice attributes within the workflow.
• Reconcile vendor statements while fostering strong vendor relationships: Ensure accurate invoice processing.
• Guarantee timely allocation of expenses and vendor payments.
• Address incorrect payment allocations and other account disputes to maintain uninterrupted purchasing ability.
• Contact vendors to collect payment for outstanding credit balances.
• Identify "Special Processing" and/or "Statement" invoices.
• Assist with departmental projects and provide additional information as required.
• Actively monitor "Vital Services" invoices throughout the workflow to ensure continuous service delivery.
• Deliver prompt and courteous customer service to vendors and stores.
• Maintain proactive communication with your supervisor regarding errors, unusual items, proposed solutions, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Notify the supervisor of excessive, unchallenging, or imbalanced workload.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in accounts payable.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinker, attentive listener, and effective time manager.
• A collaborative team member dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.
• Adaptable and flexible in response to changing priorities, delays, or unforeseen events in the workplace and/or job responsibilities.
• Possess a sense of urgency.
• Capability to work in a confidential, professional, and positive team environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
