• Oversee the bookkeeping functions for the US Division of the company, ensuring that invoices, payments, and financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and promptly.
• Handle the complete Accounts Receivable cycle, which includes invoicing, collections, and payment recording.
• Generate balance statements for clients and vendors, and actively follow up on overdue accounts.
• Oversee the full Accounts Payable cycle, including the processing of vendor invoices, securing payment approvals, and ensuring timely and precise payments.
• Conduct account reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain precise financial records and assist during audit processes.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and independent contractors to address inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare intercompany invoices, including those related to global support and expenses charged to other BARE offices.
• Develop a cash flow forecast based on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable predictions in collaboration with management.
• Assist with data entry to ensure timely bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and proprietary databases.
• Provide support in payroll preparation.
• Perform additional accounting and finance tasks as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable experience is highly preferred, especially in a small to medium-sized organization.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently managing time and resources to meet deadlines.
