This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Act as a strategic ally to a portfolio of employer clients and brokers.
• Retain and expand business while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Work closely with underwriting, sales, service, and other internal teams.
• Formulate business strategies, execute solutions, and assist clients throughout the duration of their benefits programs.
• Build and sustain collaborative relationships with clients, brokers, and internal business associates.
• Implement new business efficiently, address service inquiries, and offer consultative assistance.
• Occasionally present the financial aspects of re-rates, supplying clients with premium and claims comparison analysis for both participating and non-participating employees.
• Proven success in managing multiple medium to large financial or health insurance accounts.
• Self-driven with the capacity to cultivate and enhance relationships while achieving targeted retention rates.
• Strong time management skills, adept at handling multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently.
• Established ability to collaborate effectively with internal business partners, consultants, brokerage firms, and/or third-party administrators.
• Keen attention to detail with a strong focus on the quality of deliverables.
• Quick adaptability, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate valuable solutions effectively.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Understanding of underwriting principles and risk analysis.
• Capability to build strong collaborative relationships with key internal business partners.
• Proficiency in negotiation and influencing for optimal outcomes.
