Accounts and Finance Operations Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist the regional business by providing high-quality, process-oriented finance operations.

• Handle essential transactional activities including invoicing, reconciliations, accounting support, reporting, and MIS.

• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to resolve inquiries and adhere to tight deadlines.

• Execute Accounts Payable (AP) processing: verify invoices, secure approvals, and accurately post invoices.

• Generate Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices, credit notes, and rebills.

• Oversee intercompany invoicing.

• Conduct cash allocations (remittance posting).

• Complete statement reconciliations for both clients and suppliers.

• Carry out bank reconciliations.

• Address and resolve inquiries from clients and suppliers.

• Process employee expenses in accordance with policy and timelines.

• Investigate and assist in resolving client billing/finance inquiries.

• Facilitate supplier payments, including payment runs and AR/AP matching.

• Aid in general accounting tasks (e.g., consolidation support, prepayments).

• Generate and maintain transactional MIS and reporting.

• Support accruals and provisions.

• Contribute to monthly book closing activities and deadline-driven deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent graduate or up to one year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong academic foundation in Accounting/Finance (preferably with an excellent academic record).

• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.

• Comfortable working with numbers, reconciliations, and process checks with a high degree of accuracy.

• Thinks critically and creatively when addressing problems.

• Demonstrates a strong learning mindset and curiosity to expand knowledge across the organization.

• Collaborative, commercially aware, and focused on tasks.

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight reporting deadlines.
