Accounting Specialist, IFRS / HGB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB for various German entities.

• Involvement in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the international group following IFRS.

• Management of complex accounting matters (e.g., revenue recognition, share-based payments).

• Analysis and quality assurance of monthly financial statements.

• Assistance in optimizing and digitizing financial processes.

• Primary contact (m/f/d) for auditors and tax advisors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration or economics with a specialization in accounting, auditing, or taxation.

• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, group accounting, or within an auditing/tax advisory firm.

• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Lucanet, IFS) and MS Excel.

• Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken).

• Willingness to travel for occasional assignments.
