This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In the role of CSM for Small Accounts, you will oversee the adoption, satisfaction, and retention of a portfolio consisting of small accounting firms.
• You will create streamlined and effective onboarding and adoption journeys, implement both 1:1 and/or group actions, and assess account health through data analysis.
• Your goal is to minimize time-to-value, encourage consistent use of Pennylane, and avert churn, all while pinpointing potential expansion opportunities.
• Categorize your portfolio and establish playbooks based on firm types (founders, small firms, early adopters).
• Develop straightforward, actionable Success Plans with well-defined milestones (activation, adoption of key features, autonomy).
• Set up suitable coverage rituals including focused 1:1 meetings, office hours, webinars, adoption initiatives, and self-service content.
• Prioritize your activities using usage and account health dashboards.
• Rapidly outline objectives, governance, and success criteria with the firm.
• Plan practical deployments such as checklists, templates, mini-trainings (webinars, tutorials), timelines, and follow-up actions.
• Promote the adoption of key features and accounting best practices.
• Monitor for weak signals (declining usage, frequent support tickets, negative feedback) and initiate anti-churn action plans.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or audit firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (no expert-level qualification required) and a keen interest in technology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and teaching abilities; capable of simplifying complex topics and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a multi-account environment, with a results-driven approach.
• Solid data culture: comfortable working with adoption and retention KPIs, along with meticulous CRM tracking.
• Collaborative team player with curiosity, initiative, and a penchant for challenges.
