Accounting Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Management of eCommerce customer accounts, ensuring the accuracy of customer data for financial transactions and support. This includes updating customer records as necessary and providing historical sales information upon request.

• Oversight of eCommerce accounting, which involves managing the financial operations related to online sales and monthly reporting; ensuring precision and compliance in areas such as revenue reporting, sales tax, 606 reporting, and financial reporting.

• Record keeping responsibilities include maintaining precise and current records for all eCommerce transactions, ensuring that all necessary documentation is included in Netsuite when recording any required journal entries.

• Support with monthly reporting and month-end processes, ensuring that all sales are accurately recorded and reported to the correct accounts in the appropriate periods.

• Efficiently handle cash applications according to established procedures and reconcile all cash applications to completion.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in cash applications.

• Collaborate with customers and the credit department to clarify payment details as needed.

• Communication with customers and internal departments regarding inquiries related to sales and account updates.

• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with various accounting projects and tasks as required by the accounting department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field.

• Preferred experience working with NetSuite.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions with preferred working experience.

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
