Associate Director, Government Accounting, Rates

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture a team to ensure compliant cost accounting practices for home offices and various Mission Systems and Avionics business units, encompassing CASB Disclosure Statements along with the coordination, review, and disclosure of changes supported by cost impact analyses.

• Prepare, submit, and advocate for Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) while negotiating Agreements (FPRA).

• Conduct rate-related analyses and disclosures to ensure TINA compliance.

• Prepare, submit, and support incurred cost claims, including the settlement of final rates.

• Ensure proper cost recovery while adhering to company policies, Cost Accounting Standards, and Federal Acquisition Regulation.

• Maintain the government accounting framework, including the translation between performance accounting and government cost accounting.

• Collaborate with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as needed on matters relating to forward pricing rates, billing rates, incurred cost proposals, and associated audits.

• Assist with government accounting elements of acquisitions, divestitures, internal reorganizations, and other corporate initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
