Accounting Operations System Analysis Program Manager

📋 Description

• Provides strategic direction for finance systems analysis, ensuring that Oracle Cloud ERP-enabled accounting operations are scalable, well-controlled, and in alignment with business growth through effective leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

• Offers daily leadership and guidance for a systems analysis team that supports accounting and finance operations, ensuring that system processes are reliable, well-controlled, and scalable.

• Oversees the intake, prioritization, and resolution of operational issues, guiding analysts through root-cause analysis and solution design, and collaborates with Accounting, Finance, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to convert business requirements into successful system outcomes.

• Establishes standards for analysis, documentation, and controls, mentors team members, and drives continuous improvement, automation, and system enhancements to facilitate close cycles, audits, and evolving business needs.

• Leads and nurtures a systems analysis team that supports Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, providing functional guidance, coaching, and clear direction on solution design that aligns with accounting policies and operational necessities.

• Sets expectations and standards for systems analysis across integrations and upstream/downstream dependencies, ensuring that the team documents current-state processes, identifies gaps, and implements scalable improvements.

• Offers hands-on leadership and mentorship to the systems analysis team supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, guiding analysis, validation, and comprehensive financial integrity.

• Establishes and maintains production support operating models by directing the team on SOPs, job aids, playbooks, SLAs, and effective stakeholder communications.

• Ensures the team integrates robust financial controls by guiding reconciliation design, exception handling, monitoring, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and preventative root-cause analysis.

• Provides leadership over intake triage, backlog prioritization, governance, and release planning, enabling the team to balance production support with strategic enhancements and data integrity objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of business analysis experience in Finance/Accounting operations or Finance Systems.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven ability to excel in a close-knit, fast-paced team environment centered on collaboration and accountability.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/Financials (implementation, optimization, or production support).

• In-depth understanding of accounting operations and close processes; ability to translate accounting requirements into system specifications.
