This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for clients utilizing Sorren's bookkeeping services and related add-ons, which encompass technology/SaaS, e-commerce, cryptocurrency, as well as advanced Controller and CFO services.
• Leverage strong technical accounting knowledge to analyze new client financials, pinpoint complexities, risks, gaps, and historical issues, and ascertain the appropriate scope of work.
• Effectively communicate onboarding requirements, cleanup necessities, timelines, and expectations to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment prior to the commencement of work.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Accounting team to convert identified complexities into actionable plans and guarantee proper execution.
• Establish a proactive and collaborative atmosphere between the customer and the Accounting Team.
• Assist Sorren CAS team members by addressing inquiries related to complex and advanced accounting matters, offering guidance, and eliminating obstacles to maintain productivity.
• Diagnose advanced accounting and operational challenges, formulate action plans, and suggest solutions or additional services when deemed appropriate.
• Carry out special projects that enhance Sorren’s internal CAS operations, focusing on boosting efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate across Operations, Accounting, Tax, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and shared responsibility.
• Foster healthy client relationships by acting as a coordination and escalation point for assigned accounts, working collaboratively with internal teams as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience in accounting, client onboarding, or operations-oriented roles.
• Strong grasp of full-cycle accounting and intricate accounting scenarios.
• Proven capability to evaluate disorganized or incomplete financial records and establish realistic expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Documented success in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently while closely collaborating with others.
