Accounting Onboarding Manager, U.S. Bookkeeping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and mentor team members involved in onboarding as well as new hires.

• Facilitate training sessions, walkthroughs, and live coaching on U.S. bookkeeping practices and methodologies.

• Strategically assign onboarding projects and bookkeeping assignments to foster employee growth.

• Review work prior to client delivery to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and quality.

• Provide continuous performance feedback and coaching.

• Oversee the complete onboarding process for new bookkeeping clients.

• Ensure that books are clean and accurate, and accounting systems are properly configured before clients transition to production.

• Evaluate reconciliations, financial reports, and accompanying documentation.

• Lead projects for bookkeeping cleanup, catch-up bookkeeping, accounting system implementations, and software migrations as necessary.

• Regularly enhance onboarding processes to achieve greater efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in U.S. bookkeeping.

• Previous experience in leadership or people management roles.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

• Experience in a U.S. bookkeeping, accounting, or CPA firm.

• Solid understanding of month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Highly organized with remarkable attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines concurrently.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
