Accounting Manager – Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of one to three Senior Accountants, emphasizing professional growth, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement.

• Oversee international statutory audits spanning multiple global regions.

• Assist with compliance matters on an international scale, including statutory licensing and rating requirements.

• Support all aspects of the company's tax operations, which include:

• Preparing U.S. corporate income tax documentation and collaborating with external tax professionals for annual submissions.

• Managing the execution of corporate income tax payments pertaining to annual returns, estimated payments, and extensions.

• Coordinating and addressing inquiries and notices related to corporate income tax.

• Overseeing monthly and quarterly VAT compliance activities within the Middle East region.

• Assisting with state and local tax compliance, covering sales and use tax, gross receipts, and personal property taxes.

• Collaborating on international tax issues alongside local finance teams and external advisors.

• Supervise and support the company's global transfer pricing strategy.

• Manage technical accounting for the company’s global lease portfolio, which includes real estate and equipment leases.

• Collaborate across functions to enhance processes, bolster compliance, and promote operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area. CPA certification is strongly preferred.

• Over 6 years of pertinent accounting and tax experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people management role preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is essential.

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and/or LeaseCalcs is an advantage.

• Proven organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to handle changing priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
