Accounting Manager – Sage, Netsuite

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including the maintenance of the general ledger, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations.

• Leverage expertise in healthcare accounting principles and standards, including revenue recognition, to ensure precise and compliant financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific financial regulations, such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid billing, and other pertinent guidelines.

• Employ technical knowledge to assist in the implementation, integration, and enhancement of financial systems, focusing on Sage and NetSuite.

• Perform financial analysis and deliver insights on financial performance, trends, and forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making.

• Organize and oversee internal and external audits, guaranteeing the timely and accurate submission of financial reports and documentation.

• Lead and mentor accounting staff, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years at a Big 4 accounting firm.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or additional coursework in healthcare finance is advantageous.

• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience and comprehension of healthcare accounting principles, revenue recognition, and financial regulations specific to the healthcare sector.

• Experience in the implementation and integration of financial systems, particularly with Sage and NetSuite; proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is required.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Capable of working effectively under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
