Accounting Manager – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations related to general ledger accounting functions.

• Collaborate and assist Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, and Finance teams with various inquiries.

• Evaluate monthly closing entries prepared by team members, including Prepaid, Fixed Assets, accruals, deferred rent, and AMEX entries.

• Supervise accounting personnel to guarantee timely closing and adherence to reporting deadlines.

• Review balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare general ledger account analyses by examining transactions within the general ledger to verify accuracy.

• Maintain an organized accounting filing system.

• Prepare and review audit schedules as assigned, conduct audit research, and address inquiries.

• Assist with the preparation of year-end tax schedules.

• Oversee the intercompany reconciliation process.

• Support the month-end ancillary package and Hyperion trial balance uploads.

• Act as a backup for various functions within the Shared Service Department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software is preferred (such as SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy, etc.).

• Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements, along with proficiency in researching accounting literature.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and perform general ledger analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• CPA (or equivalent) is preferred.

• Previous experience with consolidations and intercompany eliminations.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing an accounting team.

• Advanced Excel skills are required (including vlookup, sumifs, sumif, and pivot tables).

• 5-7 years of accounting experience.

• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, meet critical deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

• Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Located in Latam.
