Accounting Manager – GL Operations, Intercompany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete month-end and quarter-end closing processes for global entities, ensuring prompt and precise general ledger reporting as well as consolidated financial statements.

• Oversee global intercompany operations, which include billing, cash settlements, execution of transfer pricing, analysis of foreign exchange gains/losses, and elimination entries.

• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data teams to operationalize new intercompany agreements, support entity launches, and implement transfer pricing methodologies into scalable processes.

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and documentation of SOX-compliant internal controls throughout GL operations and intercompany processes.

• Manage strategic GL projects such as M&A integration, establishment of new entities, and ERP enhancements within NetSuite.

• Enhance team capabilities by mentoring and developing direct reports, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA with over 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years of management experience with direct reports, preferably in public accounting (Big 4 experience is a plus).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, along with practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 implementation and documentation.

• Experience managing the complete month-end closing processes across various entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.

• Led multi-entity intercompany accounting processes such as eliminations, FX revaluation, or global consolidations.

• Proficient in SQL with experience in analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker, or similar) and ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), ideally within a fintech or crypto setting.

• Utilizes generative AI in a responsible manner, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready results and enhance measurable improvements in workflow efficiency and quality.
