Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing general ledger accounts and journal entries using QBO.

• Verifying that transactions are appropriately categorized in both the general ledger in QBO and 1C.

• Posting payroll entries in QBO for a workforce of over 30 employees.

• Applying VAT to 300 monthly invoices, primarily for non-resident clients, that are auto-generated in QBO.

• Conducting account reconciliations, excluding cash, supplier, and customer accounts.

• Ensuring adherence to IFRS standards and company policies.

• Managing and supervising tax compliance, which includes VAT, payroll tax, and corporate tax filings.

• Assisting in both internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.

• Managing and ensuring compliance with regulatory online filing requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience within a global business network.

• IFRS certification is required.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is necessary.

• Minimum B2 level of English proficiency.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with global accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.
